Continental Inc is looking to hire an experienced Inventory Control Analyst in Lebanon, Indiana. 

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Inventory Control Analyst:

  • Attend daily production meetings to ensure materials are available for the next day’s production.
  • Manage inventory transfers from 3PL into the warehouse to align with production requirements.
  • Monitors all KPIs and puts corrective actions in place when targets are off-track.
  • Maintain and update inventory records.
  • Reconcile inventories and make adjustments when appropriate.
  • Assists and participates in physical inventories based on customer requirements.
  • Manage cycle count process and make system adjustments as necessary.
  • Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies of inventory based on customer parameters and approval process.
  • Ensure all damaged/defective product is accounted for and properly handled.
  • May include recoup or destruction process.
  • Maintain records to accurately track recouped product and return saleable product to stock.
  • Audit returns and move return product to its proper location.
  • Take appropriate action on product that is not in saleable condition and record data.
  • Prepare all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts and adjustments.
  • Communicate timing of physical inventories and any variances if necessary.
  • Establish Lean tools that instill a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Continuously look to develop and refine tools, process to deliver on KPI targets.

Qualifications

Qualifications of the Inventory Control Analyst:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role.
  • Preference to Certified Supply Chain Management Professionals (cSCMP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or completion of certification is in process.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with warehouse and inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
  • Accuracy and thoroughness required with great attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office – (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience in an ERP system/warehouse management system.
